Bengali contains fictional literature dedicated to the jungles. Among them is the famous novel 'Aranyak' (Vanavasi in Telugu) by Bibhuti Bhushan Bandopadhyay, author of "Pather Panchali". But it is not the barbaric wilderness experiences, but the civilized experiences. Telugu is not a fan of this novel which is in many ways better than Bengali 'Aranyak'.
