Book Reviews:

Best book to read for UG examinations and even reference in entrance examinations. I've seen a lot of people recommend reading Robbins during UG days but I don't agree with that.

I think it's more than enough to be reading Harsh Mohan during UG days. It gives details of every topic, diagrams are easy to understand and well drawn. In addition, it also has photos of actual pathological slides. If you are a student of UG MBBS do not look elsewhere and buy this book.

The new edition, divided into three sections – General Pathology, Hematology and Lymphoreticular Tissues, and Systemic Pathology – covers numerous disorders, their origins, pathways, pathophysiology, diagnosis, anatomy and clinical aspects.

Each subject ends with a summary of key points, including illustrative pictures, graphs, and tables.
Most of the chapters include a topic-related clinical case, presenting its history and findings, and finishing with important questions that are answered in the Appendix.

This book contains a foreword by Ivan Damjanov, M.D. , Ph.D. – Book Review Editor of the "Real Pathology" publication, the official magazine of the U.S.-Canadian Academy of Pathology, and popular bestseller.

This is the seventh edition of a book that has already established itself in India as the classical textbook on pathology. This new edition has been updated and improved to meet the highest quality and information standards now demanded by pathology courses around the world.

This new edition editorially places particular emphasis on molecular pathology and genetics in the pathogenesis of various diseases, and a short description of their structure and function is followed by the pathological descriptions of each organ or system. The material is integrated with extensive page cross-references between chapters, and the entire book was thoroughly re-edited, with new images, illustrations and line drawings.
